Join us for a fun-filled evening at Fern Elementary as we celebrate the end of the school year and the start of summer! The SOAR into Summer Festival is a free event for all Fern families, packed with exciting activities like a foam party, carnival games, DJ dance area, crafts, handball, and treats for everyone.

We’re so excited to kick off summer with our amazing school community. Be sure to check in when you arrive, and don’t forget to stop by the food vendors for tacos, ice cream, and coffee available for purchase.

FAQ
Q: Who can attend the festival?
A: All Fern Elementary students and their families are welcome! Entry is free and RSVPs are encouraged by May 15 at 3 PM to ensure we have enough supplies for everyone.
Q: How do I RSVP?
A: Follow the RSVP link and complete the Google form by May 15 at 3pm. If you missed the deadline, you can still check in at the Unregistered Check-In table at the event.
Q: Is there a cost to participate?
A: Entry is free! Each child receives one free snow cone and free popcorn is available to all guests (while supplies last). Additional food (tacos, ice cream, and coffee) will be available for purchase.
Q: What activities are planned?
A: There’s something for everyone:
Foam Party (bring a towel and a jacket - your child will get wet)
Carnival Games
DJ & Dance Area
Crafts (including bag painting, coloring, chalk art, tattoos & face paint)
Popcorn & Snow Cones
Handball
Q: Where do we check in?
A: Check-in stations are located near the kindergarten gate on Fern Ave. Look for “Registered” and “Unregistered” tables on the map.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: For the safety of all guests, no pets are allowed, except for service animals.
Q: What safety rules should we follow?
A: All guests must follow these guidelines:
Children must stay with an adult.
No running to avoid accidents.
Stay in designated festival areas—classrooms and playground are off-limits.
Follow directions from volunteers at all times.
Keep it fun and friendly for all.
Q: Will restrooms be available?
A: Yes! Restrooms are marked on the map and located under the stairs of the 5th grade building.
